The continuous changes in the business environment demand that academia incorporates these updates while imparting students with their required course knowledge. The contemporary business environment demands a strong link between the corporate sector and academia.

Keeping this need in mind, the Department of Management & HRM organized a workshop on “Assessment for Recruitment” on Sunday, November 24, 2019, in Room # 3204. The objective of the workshop was to enable the final year business students to get hands-on knowledge of the latest recruitment methods employed by corporates.

The trainer for this event was Mr. Md. Shameem Reza, HR In-charge of Grameen Uniqlo, the Bangladeshi subsidiary of the Japanese giant in the RMG sector, Fast Retailing Ltd.

It was a very interactive session, which students enjoyed and got to learn contemporary recruitment practices. At the end of the training, participants were provided with a Certificate of Participation. The certificates along with the certificate to the trainer were presented by Mr. A. K. Nazmul, Associate Professor, Department of Management  & HRM and Director, Office of Sports who very kindly agreed to grace the event and also gave a speech of thanking the trainer and said a few words to motivate the students.

The event was arranged by Ms. Hafsa Maryam, Senior Assistant Professor, Department of Management & HRM under the supervision of Ms. Farheen Hassan, Director BBA Program and under the guidance of Dr. Charles C. Villanueva, Dean, Faculty of Business Administration.
