A Video Exhibition titled “Travel.Enjoy.Respect. – See the New Paradigm of Tourism from the AIUBians’ Eyes” was organized in the banner of the departments of Marketing and Tourism & Hospitality Management on December 13, 2017. With the declaration of United Nation World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) to focus on sustainable tourism as a tool for attaining sustainable development goals from 2017 onwards, this video exhibition attempted to identify the extent of sustainable/responsible tourism practices in various tourist destinations across Bangladesh. In addition to providing the theoretical knowledge, the video exhibition endeavored to enlighten the students of Tourism & Hospitality Marketing course (Majoring in Marketing/Tourism & Hospitality Management) with some practical experience from the real-life scenario.

Short videos – prepared by the students based on their visits to different tourist attractions of Dhaka and its surrounding areas – were exhibited during the video exhibition. Subsequent to the video exhibition, top four videos were selected based on the judgement of the esteemed faculty members of the department of Marketing and THM.
