One university campaign titled “Branding Insight: Creating the Most Loved Brands” was held by the Department of Marketing, Faculty of Business Administration on November 15, 2017 at Kuril Campus of AIUB. Bangladesh Brand Forum organized the campaign to shed light on the process and details of branding that has made them the top brands of Bangladesh. First of all Dr. Khondaker Sazzadul Karm, Coordinator of Department of Marketing delivered his welcome speech. Prof. Dr. Charles C. Villanueva, Pro Vice Chancellor & Dean, Faculty of Business Administration inspired students through his valuable, encouraging and informative speech. The Key speaker Mr. Faisal Mahmud, Brand Manager, Bangladesh Edible Oil Limited (BEOL) highlighted all brands of BEOL and discussed about the marketing strategies they formulated and implemented in order to establish the brands. Students of Brand and Product Management and Strategic Marketing were able to reduce gap between theoretical knowledge and real-life situation. Bangladesh Brand Forum organized a quiz contest and handed over gift items to two winners. After the workshop, Ms. Farheen Hassan, Associate Professor & Director, BBA Program, delivered thank you note to the key speaker and organizer and inspired the students to participate in such event for gaining much needed valuable experience. On behalf of Department of Marketing Dr. Partha Prasad Chowdhury, Associate Professor and Dr. Sahin Akter Sarker, Assistant Professor planned and organized the event where Ms. Rubaiya Rahman of Brand and Product Management course and Mr. Khondaker Mehedi Hasan of Strategic Marketing course played the role of anchors. Mr. Stanley Sumon Rodrick, Assistant Professor, Mrs. Tahsina Nimmi Khan, Assistant Professor, and Mr. Shafkat Reza Chowdhury, Lecturer of Department of Marketing were also attended the event.
