The Winter Carnival, which comprises several activities, i.e., Winter Business Ideas Competition, Pitha Utshob, Food Factory, Street Market, was quite innovative because of its mode of execution and style of arrangement. The WC2019 envisions helping young learners in developing their startup; simultaneously, it aids them to visualize the practical orientation of the marketing theories that we usually teach in the class. Moreover, the event was cordially welcomed by the community as it facilitated students to convert their business opportunities, which were considered to be hidden and unexplored, into a feasible startup and become an entrepreneur.

Due to its profound objectives, which is to boost up learning in a joyful way, the event itself was able to attract consumers from almost every corner of the AIUB. However, the WC2019 was highly admired by the community as It consisted of several sub-events: a) Winter Business Idea competition, which was mainly participated by the students of the Principles of Marketing course, held on the second floor of annex 2; b) Community market, Pitha Utshob, and Street market, which were participated by the students majoring Marketing, were combinedly arranged at the space between annex 3 and 4.

The event was inaugurated by the Honorable Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Carmen Z. Lamagna. At the time of the inauguration, the following leaders: Prof. Dr. Charles C. Villanueva, Vice President (Academics), and Dean, Faculty of Business Administration, Mr. Manzur H Khan, Director, OSA, Dr. Khondaker Sazzadul Karim, Head, Department of Marketing of AIUB were present.

The event was earnestly facilitated by Ms. Farheen Hasan, Program Director, Undergraduate; Dr. Nisar Ahmed, Program Director, Graduate. Lastly, the event ended up with a formal award-giving ceremony in which three groups (each consist of five members) were awarded the crest and certificates of achievement. The winters of the event were primarily selected by a jury panel made up of academicians. They are Ms. Rumana Afrin, Assistant Professor, Department of Finance; Mr.Joynal Abedin, Assistant Professor, Department of Finance, FBA.
