On October 9, 2018, Department of Marketing has organized a seminar on Role of Soft Skills in Customer Relationship Management. The seminar was particularly arranged for the students of Service Marketing course, Venue: Annex 1 Room 1108.

The speaker was Mr. Md. Mizanur Rahman Chowdhury, Sr. Manager of Tech Valley Solutions. The speaker discussed about the importance of soft skills such as Time management, work ethics, Communication, behaviors, family values, adaptability, Problem-Solving, teamwork, Creativity, Interpersonal Skills, leadership and so on. In addition, he shared his soft skills in solving problems when occurred and maintain relation with customers in Tech Valley Solutions.

He also said only higher CGPA cannot take to higher position in career; therefore, soft skills should get priority in a parallel way. 

The event was organized by Mr. AKM Kamrul Haque, Sr. Assistant Professor, Department of Marketing. Dr. Partha Prasad Chowdhury, Associate Professor and Convener (Marketing Team-3), Department of Marketing, and Dr. M.M. Obaidul Islam, Associate Professor, Department of OSCM, handover the Certificate and the gift package to honorable guest speaker. The Department of Marketing is grateful to the AIUB management for their kind support and cooperation for arranging this seminar.
