On February 23, 2020, the Department of Marketing, AIUB, arranged a Seminar anchored with “Hunting for Consumer Psychologist” from 12.30-2.00 pm at AIUB Multipurpose Hall where not only the students of ‘Consumer Behavior’ course but also students from the courses of ‘Global Trade’, ‘Marketing Management’, ‘Sales Management’, and ‘Airlines Reservation & Ticketing’   acquired the real-life experience from honorable Guest Speaker, Dr. Syed Alamgir, Managing Director of ACI Salt Ltd. who launched and positioned the innovative different types of products successfully in the fiercely competitive Markets in Bangladesh.

Prof. Dr. Charles Villanueva, Vice President (Academics), and Dean, Faculty of Business Administration stated in his opening speech to the students “You Are Opportunist Enough to Have Dr. Syed Alamgir here who has a tremendous of success in Business world, even pioneer ideology of 100% “Halal Soap” and thus, Marketing Guru Professor Phillip Kotler included his idea in the Text Book of Principles of Marketing”.

Our distinguished speaker shared his pertinent facts from his long real-life experience of his success history, innovativeness, eagerness and tactics in his valuable speech. In the Post seminar session students said the most important words that they inspired and will remember for rest of their life is “I am not a son of ACI Salt Ltd. but today achieved the Managing Director position only by working hard, hence, you also could achieve this position”. Dr. Syed was the first mover to pour toothpaste in the tube that made by Premiaflex plastic in Bangladesh. Moreover, respected speaker try to find the gap of competitors where customers are deprived from. Then fill that specific gap to get customers satisfaction, hence, they will be loyal to you and company might be branded.  In addition, he explained about aggressive Marketing approach to grab the market share for ACI Aerosol for Mosquito.
