The Department of Marketing, Faculty of Business Administration (FBA) of American International University Bangladesh, organized a corporate session on "Innovative Marketing Strategies applied by Startup Enterprises in Bangladesh: A Study on Farm Villa Dairy" on March 20, 2018 at the Room 1105, Annex # 1 Building at Kuril, Dhaka for the students of the Course – Strategic Marketing. The seminar was started with a short introductory speech by organizer of the event Dr. Sahin Akter Sarker, Assistant Professor of Department of Marketing. To enhance the students’ knowledge-base, Mr. Nazmul Hasan Mithun, Managing Director of “Farm Villa Dairy”, gave an enlightening lecture on the above-mentioned topic. The seminar enlightened the students to further understand not only the basic functions of Marketing and Management but also created the paths to come out with innovative Marketing Strategies considering Targeting, Positioning, and so on in the context of Bangladesh. He gave the firm message to the students that though Markets are in fiercely competitive, still there are demands for Innovative offers and that’s why students should prepare themselves to gain competitive advantages grabbing the prospective markets.

The session was ended by giving a vote of thanks to the resource speaker by Mr. Saihad Shahid Rahman, Lecturer, Department of Marketing. The guest speaker was presented with a Certificate of Appreciation by Dr. Khondaker Sazzadul Karim, Associate Professor and Coordinator, Department of Marketing. The guest speaker was presented with a Gift pack by Dr. Partha Prasad Chowdhury, Associate Professor Dr and Mr. AKM Kamrul Haque, Senior Assistant Professor, Department of Marketing, Faculty of Business Administration.
