On April 4, 2019, a workshop entitled “Let’s Map Our Ways To Excellence” was organized by the Department of Accounting to give the students an opportunity to enrich their competencies to face the competitive job market. The workshop was arranged by Ms. Sazia Afrin, Lecturer, Department of Accounting, Faculty of Business Administration. The main objective of this workshop was to educate the students on relevant required competencies for surviving in the current global market. The resource Speaker was Anik Brahmachari, Associate Manager-HR & Admin, Avery Dennison Bangladesh (NYSE: AVY). Anik Brahmachari is an Enthusiastic, results-oriented HR professional with more than 9.5 years of extensive experience in all areas of Human Resources that includes but is not limited to Compensation and Benefits, Recruitment and Selection, Employee Engagement, policy & procedures, Training and development, Manpower Planning. He has achieved below global certifications: C-KPIP (Certified KPI Professional), The KPI Institute, Australia. CLDP (Certified L & D Professional), AON Hewitt, India. CTRP (Certified Total Rewards Professional), ATRI, Singapore. He has represented BSHRM in the SHRM India Conference 2016 in New Delhi at Taj Palace, India, where all the global HR leaders had attended.
The workshop was coordinated by Mohammad Faridul Alam, Associate Professor & Head, Department of Accounting with the kind presence of Prof. Dr. Charles C. Villanueva, Vice-President (Academics) and Dean, FBA. Other faculties of the Department of Accounting were also present in this workshop.
