Corporate Session Entitled “Branding of a Product in Agribusiness Sector”

A corporate session entitled “Branding of a Product in Agribusiness Sector” was held by the Department of Marketing, Faculty of Business Administration on February 19, 2018 at the Room 1120, Annex Building 1 of Permanent Campus, Kuril, Dhaka. The seminar was presented by Mr. Ratan Kumar Das, Country Manager, Fertiagro Pte Ltd.

First of all organizer of the event Dr. Partha Prasad Chowdhury, Associate Professor, Department of Marketing delivered his welcome speech. The Resource Speaker shared his real life experiences in the field of marketing and brand management specifically in the context of agricultural sector of Bangladesh market and demonstrated the ways to develop a brand in this sector. The insightful presentation contained detail information and provided students an opportunity to reduce the gap between theoretical knowledge and real life business situation in the context of brand and product management in agricultural sector of Bangladesh.  

The presentation session was followed by giving a vote of thanks to the resource speaker by Dr. Partha Prasad Chowdhury. The guest speaker was presented with a Certificate of Appreciation and a Gift pack by Dr. Khondaker Sazzadul Karm, Coordinator of Department of Marketing and Dr. Partha Prasad Chowdhury respectively. At the end of the event Dr. Khondaker Sazzadul Karm, in his concluding speech, delivered thank you note to the key speaker and organizer and inspired the students to participate in such event for gaining much needed valuable experience. Mr. AKM Kamrul Haque, Sr. Assistant Professor of Department of Marketing also attended the session.
