The Department of Operations and Supply Chain Management (OSCM) of American International University-Bangladesh organized a Poster Competition on “Career Opportunities in Operations and Supply Chain Management” on 25st October, 2017. The ceremony was inaugurated by our honorable Dean Prof. Dr. Charles C. Villanueva, Ms. Farheen Hassan, Associate Professor and Director of BBA Program, Mr. Ashfaque A. Mohib, Associate Professor,Head of Department, OSCM. More than 200 students of core course of Operations Management had expressed their inspiring ideas through the poster regarding Career Opportunities in Operations and Supply Chain Management. Many honorable faculty members attended in the ceremony and gave their valuable opinions and feedbacks.
Top twenty posters were primarily selected and displayed in the competition. It was a complicated task to decide the best ones. After several stages of judgments by the honorable panel of judges, top 3 posters were selected for final awarding. One viewers choice award was also there, where the students of multi deciplinary voted for the best poster according to their choice. That event was very effecetive and colorful because of the presence of all the interested recepient and who showed their excitement and interest about this topic.The top three posters and the best poster (through voting) will be awarded in the Prize Giving Ceremony which will be announced later by Department of Operations and Supply Chain Management .
The event was only possible because of the spontaneous hard work of the respective teachers and students along with the support provided from administration.The program was organized by Ms. Sadia Rahman, Ms. Nazmun Nahar and Mr. Ashfaque A. Mohib, faculties of Operations and Supply Chain Management. Many special thanks are coveyed,on behalf of the participating students, and the department of OSCM, to our honorable Dean Prof. Dr. Charles C. Villanueva, Ms. Farheen Hassan, Director of BBA Program and Mr. Manzur H. Khan, Director, OSA for their continuous support and sponsorship to make this event successful.
